In 2001 KKG Ladies won the treble in London Junior football, the Tom O Connor Cup, Johnaton Dillon Shield and Championship. In 2002 we competed in senior league and cup finishing in a strong third place. We won the Junior Championship. We also got to the final of the All Britain Junior competition, losing by just a point.
2002 was a great year for our club, recruitment was fantastic with many experienced players from Ireland. As always our social scene was exciting, continuous with regular celebrations. All nights out were very well supported with the KKG Men's team socialising with us the whole year through. The bonding in this club is very special fostering a wonderful spirit which is unique. One particular highlight of the year was our club trip to Lanzarote which was fantastic. Having just returned from the Paudi O Se tournament in Dingle, Co. Kerry plans are already underway for the forthcoming club trip to Spain in October.
