Kingdom Kerry Gaels 0-18 Neasden Gaels 0-0
The Kingdom Kerry Gaels continued their recent improvement by recording 0-18 to 0-0 score over Neasden Gaels. It is the first time in London’s history that a team failed to score in a Senior Football Match.
The Kingdom played with the strong wind led by 0-12 at half time and with their superior fitness completely controlled the 2nd half by scoring another 6 pts.
Neasden who hit the upright several times were very unlucky not to score.
Jim Landy’s training began to show as the game went on.
Best for the Kingdom Kerry Gaels were Martin Donaghey, Karl Scanlon, and Dessie Lyndon who scored 0-7, Kevin Waldron, Aidan Dillane, Stephen Sheehan and Sean Donal O’Shea.
Man of the match was Martin Donaghy the Donegal man was everywhere?

Kingdom Kerry Gaels 1-7 Moindearg 0-3 Sunday 21st April Posted Sunday, April 28, 2002 by webmaster
Last Sunday Kingdom Kerry Gaels score 1-7 against Moindearg’s 0-1 in the Senior Football League at Greenford.
Kingdom Kerry Gaels totally dominated and led by 1-2 to 0-1 after 15 mins. The goal came from Denis O’Connell, for the rest of the first half Kingdom Kerry Gaels were very wasteful in front of the goals, where they kicked twelve wides missing at least three good goal scoring opportunities.
Half time the Kingdom led by four points but this did not look good enough with them playing downhill and with the breeze. It looked more ominous when Moindearg scored 30 seconds into the second half. That did prove to be their last score of the game.
The Kingdom Kerry Gaels controlled the second half but again were very wasteful in front of the goals.
They final score saw the Kingdom Kerry Gaels take the points but the poor shooting is a source of concern to manager Tom Roche and his fellow selectors. This will have to be worked on over the next couple of weeks. Best for the Kingdom Kerry Gaels were Karl Scanlon, Stephen Kearney, Martin Donaghy, Stephen Sheehan, Dessie Lyndon Shane Minogue, S. O’Shea, D. O’Connell and Kevin Waldron.
Man of the match was Shane Minogue.
